Professional Philosophy
At Electrical Forensic Consultants Ltd, we believe that the role of an expert witness extends far beyond technical knowledge.
An expert witness is entrusted with providing independent opinion evidence founded upon experience, recognised industry standards and the available facts. Every conclusion must withstand scrutiny, remain free from bias and assist the Court or Tribunal in reaching an informed decision.
Our philosophy is simple:
Evidence must always come before opinion.
Professional Background
Jaryd has developed extensive practical experience across domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installations, with particular expertise in:
Electrical inspection and testing
Investigation of electrical defects and failures
Assessment of workmanship and installation quality
Compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
Fault diagnosis and forensic investigation
Technical reporting
This practical foundation enables complex electrical issues to be investigated methodically and explained clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Expert Witness Practice
Jaryd has completed specialist Expert Witness training through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), strengthening his understanding of the responsibilities placed upon experts providing opinion evidence within legal proceedings.
Every instruction is undertaken with an appreciation that an expert witness owes an overriding duty to the Court or Tribunal. This principle underpins every inspection, report and opinion produced by Electrical Forensic Consultants Ltd.
